MDTP Online Training Workshop

Get ready to learn about your students’ mathematical needs and plan more effective, efficient instruction for the new year!

This three hour workshop will introduce you to MDTP diagnostic tests and the free, online testing platform.  We will learn how to navigate the online platform; set up classes; add enrollment; and assign and administer tests.  We will discuss how to use the online platform to analyze your results and set instructional goals. We will explore math activities that support and improve student thinking and get students communicating mathematically.

MDTP is a statewide collaboration of the CSU and UC systems and the California Academic Partnership Program intended to support and advance secondary math instruction. MDTP develops, distributes, scores, and reports the results of multiple choice tests that measure student readiness for mathematics courses ranging from Math 6 to Calculus. MDTP at UCLA offers full support for MDTP materials and services at no charge to secondary schools in LA and Ventura Counties.
